My Little Sweet & Loving DJ Gabriel Renso On The Air

THIS time I pause for awhile…I remember my sweet and loving disc jockey. I think of him everytime I play the song Mr. DJ, a song composed by Rey Valera. I remember him everytime the song plays, every lyrics, every lines and every notes, I think of him, my one and only son, Gabriel Renso. When, during those times I'm in the bad mood, I'm in my mellow most, feeling not so well and thinking nothing but deepness within, he will come near and utter the lines…"Mr. DJ, can I make a request?" Then, he will giggle, he knew that he has baited another smile from me, "…pwede ba 'yung love song ko." That's why I miss my son, he knows how he makes me happy, how he makes me smile and how he makes me laugh. Sobra kasi kulit, 'yun cute na kulit, 'yun matutuwa ka na lang, you'll just smile, sa sobrang kakulitan." 

Now, I'm missing him, no one here will sing Mr. DJ for me and no one here will make a request…"Papa, buy me a toy…papa bili mo ko X-men, papa…I'm hungry, papa buy me a burger, yun may toy" and so on and so forth. Gabriel is now in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, schooling and he's in Kindergarden II. I remember those days when he's with me here in Dagupan City, strolling around, frolicking 'round the station and goin' on air with me. Anyhow, I'm so glad that he's doin great in school, so inquisitive and creative, like father, like son, they always say.

Anyway, for you Gabriel, here's your song…our song…hum with me and whistle with me…
