TAHALIA ST., Riyadh - In the wide open space where you can be whatever you want, whoever you want, is like getting a hold of brushes and oil color paints to stroke some expounding pieces inside your mind in a totally complete colorless canvass. Call it an act of letting go off something within your troubled or not-so troubled consciousness. Or, maybe perhaps we have to, to let your inner guts wander in the kaleidoscopic world of illusive realm of creativeness.
While with the outstanding Pinoy designers here in Riyadh, the silence were conked out by the cherished words and inspiring music of John Lennon…imagine there's no heaven…no hell below us…above us only skies…imagine all the people living in life in peace. Yeah man, a pompous dream of peace Lennon wants when he was still here wandering in the unruliness. But to the moral men, these word of whispers were just a clear of present delusions so as John's figments of imagination. A word of whispers in our heart that will disseminate hopes within our senses atleast in a song, in a very powerful and intimate song only a true-born peacemaker can imagine…imagine there's no country…nothing to kill or die for…and no religion too.

No wonder, Lennon was cold shot dead, imagine if Lennon's mental pictures were true an can set into a bold action into the open, and we dreamers of peace, brotherhood of diplomacy and the new offsprings of the hippie-ish humanity will goin' to thrust and embrace that brawny conviction, most probably the hollier-than-thou will get nothing from their dyed-in-the-wool yet wide-of-the-mark prophetic juxtaposition of the science of the truth and holiness infusing within our tired and pious psyche. Imagine the greedy builders of every nation will starve to death and will die in the pariah without the helpless attendance of the benign preys. Just imagine all of these paranois within will goin' to get in touch with their radical hearts, Lennon's howling through, wanting the realm, the mundane sphere will be as one…living their lives in peace, no unwillingness creed, vindictive tyranny, no imbalanced possessions, no starvation nor killings of misunderstanding and pains of hatred. Above us only ONE up in the skies.
Now, you can shut the mouth in my mind howlin' back like Ginsberg the pieces of peace Lennon's delirium before…be still, be aware and imagine the peace of John's troubled dream ressurects within…you may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not tyhe only one…I hope someday you'll join us…

TAHALIA ST., Riyadh - For barely a week we experience the fury of the sand storms here in Riyadh and after the sky clears the entire city we climb up in the height of a rooftop to take a closer look at the beauty of the city after the storm, and we find nothing but the the true and unexplainable wonders of the really great city of Riyadh.

From the distance you can see the great landmarks here in Riyadh, the two amazing towers the Saudians bulit to make their land a remarkable one, using my Panasonic Lumix Digicam 7.2 megapixels, I captured these two great landmarks, the towering Faisaliah Tower and Kingdom Come Tower located in Olaya in the heart of the city. Looking at this great two really brings an elated feelings in my not-really loneliness but something else that I really can't explain crawlin' down deep inside my beingness. So, everytime that rub-a-dub goes inside me, I go up here in the rooftop where you can be free from the hassles and dazzles the fast and furious mundane world brings. Sometimes its good to be free from the busy world where you can relax and be focus of what is happening around.

Sometimes it's good to be alone in the rooftop and feel the serenity of being free. Anyway, the pictures will tell how beautiful the city is, not only after the storn but as well as everytime you trek for a peacefulness place, alone and free from anything, or atleast trying to be free and away from reality, or even perhaps, a time for a reflection up here on the nice and cool place, up here on the roof.

SUNDAY, May 27 - From Fukuoka City, Japan to Pozorrubio, Pangasinan, a long distance call of sugary-syrupy like cotton candy caring from our dearest friend Juvy. Atlast, her sweet voice next to my right ear connects. Juvy, an outstanding teacher in Rouji Elementary School in northern island of Kyushu, Japan, heave a sweetest smile out of our below par condition that day. Can't find a stupendous drive to go on board last Sunday, and so whispers of good rest commands. Call it a Juvy psyche intervention, or just a thoughtful dear friend who really cares and knows when her dearest are down and in silent agony. Suddenly, the annoying bug troubling inside my system downgrades, curing with her soothing comforts of laughs and stories that will alleviately make you smile.

A funny-bubbly-kind of person, Juvy knocks great entertaining stories about her last year's visit to Baguio City, the Geisha (traditional, female Japanese entertainers) in Kyoto place with thick traditional make-up, originally made with lead or rice powder, which is one of their most recognizable characteristics, and her search of the de-uling na plantsa (charcoaled iron), that heals. De-uling na plantsa, is a classic film in the early 70's, and a tale about healing any kind of sickness, which she dreams of, becoming a healer with a charcoaled iron as her medium that will make her popular and famous in Japan, funny right? Nonetheless, she's fond of collecting antiques and old aged stuffs and really like ironing, whatsoever. Bottomline is, Juvy exerts time and effort to soothe and comfort a down and out friend, a truly concerned and so thoughtful friend. Thanks a lot, dear Juvy!

TAIPEI CITY, Taiwan - Back to where I used to feel cool and alright…tumambay-pogi sa Taiwan. Last summer I went to Taiwan not just to visit quite few treasured Pinoy-Married-To-Taiwanese friends in Louchou City but as well as to put an end to my curiosity of knowing what's the frequency up there at the world's tallest and towering Taipei 101. Sad to tell, the medical team didn't allow me to enter the tower and know the frequency because of my present health condition, oh my, my boiling blood pressure. Hhm, just to make things easier for us, or perhaps to rub out the sour-graping inside and to make things cool and relaxed we decided to just stroll around, and went to places of what we are really interested in. We ended up enjoying the chow at the Taipei 101 food court located at the basement, in short…nag-food trip na lang.

While looking for something our taste bud is craving, you know, the super hot and spicy stuffs in Taiwan, with lots and lots of hmmm…chilli sauce, we extremely prefer that time the shabu shabu, a hot pot-cook for yourself food stuff. It's like taking up a complete meal of churro (cow) meat, veggies, including mushrooms and seafoods, particularly shrimps and some slices of really tasty red tuna. One at a time, while the pot is boiling you can put in your choices of meat, fish and veggies and relish it with the very good red hot chilli sauce dip, exceptionally great lip-smacking and wonderful stuff we enjoyed much. At this instant of musing over, I am really raging to go back and get my pack back again in Taipei City not only to enjoy once again that authentic spicy and chilli thing inside my head, and of course, take my sweet revenge at the towering Taipei 101…what's the frequency out there, kenneth?

Just like one not-so special lazy sunny afternoon, I wonder what's store for me on the day - I walk outside, stroll around and look for somethin' unusual, thank space I found nothin' but a heatwave and cool whisper to my ears…"inuman na sa tanghaling tapat!"

JUST another ordinary day of cruisin' the time inside the fully- airconditioned square room for my 2-hour radio program Pinoy Overseas sa Aksyon Radyo, nothin' really special lingers in the now breezy and chilled airwaves except the listener's wants and yearns for to air their sweety-syrupy sentiments over their antiquated much loved song. If i were to calibrate my head and shake it all up like your desired yummy fruitshakes to come up with song closest to my eerie heart, it would be the most gleaming song redeemed inside the romantic hearts of many music aficionados.
A song that comes from the band during my sentimental youth spawned super-inclined syrupy and honey-lemon mashed moving song Muskrat Love. The band is best known for its #1 hits A Horse With No Name and Sister Golden Hair, so to mention the most sentimental song ever written during the days of nonsensical yuppies - I Need You. Flashin' like jumpin' flash inside my mumbo jumbo head is another certified sentimental-tailored mushiness, the jasmine-flowerisque song All My Life from the band who became an overnight musical sensation in 1972 - with original members Gerry Beckley, Dewey Bunnell and Dan Peek, certainly, the group can do magic.
