PRAYERS can really do wonders, here's a moving prayer for our hardworking kababayans…and among Pinoys who are seeking great opportunities in life…a prayer from Vienna Cobb Anderson.

Loving God, you made us co-creators in the process of your creation, blessing us with wisdom, reason, creativity, and skill. Bless all who seek meaningful employment that they may provide for the well-being of their families. Let those who have more than they need for life's necessities be moved to use their wealth to create new opportunities for others. Let those who have skills be open to sharing the riches of their knowledge with those who seek the opportunity to learn. Let us all learn from one another, for you have blessed every human being with a gift for the benefit of the common good. And thereby enable us by the power of your Holy Spirit to build up the body of Christ on this earth that your name be proclaimed and blessed through the good work of all; in Christ’s name we pray. Amen.

Love Sonnet II

OWINGS, Mills - From the beautiful coffee-table edition of Time After Time (Library of Congress), here's another poem published in May 31, 2000 because of its unique perspective and artistic vision. While I'm on vacation, honing and energizing for something big, I would love to share again this wonderful piece…

Why should I love her with all my heart, with all my body, with all my soul. Where I can't deny, disgust and beset, all my life, all my self, all cariño y amour.

How will I love her when my heart was soaked with tears and sad verses I dwell with her. I no longer love her that's certain.

But how I love her with all my life, thine kisses tossed in the breeze, thine naked body dreamed last night. Through night like these I kiss her teary eyes, among the endless sky I held her in my naked arms, I no longer love her with all my heart.

From the distant shore how can I forget her call, of sweetest odes and precious lullabyes, I no longer love her with all my life, that's certain from where I cast my last goodbyes.

Beneath the gait of the morning birds, I cast more flowers and dirt embraces.

OWINGS, Mills - Piece of my award-winning poem published in the International Library of Poetry in Time After Time deluxe hardbound edition by Poetry.Com at 1 Poetry Plaza, Owings Mills, USA. We heartfully and lovingly like to share to our fellow poets and writers…

I've seen the life smooch its festive glory where confetti's of its victory crushed into the paradox of sentiments.

I've seen the love mourns in schizophrenic delusions of its eclectic highs.

I've seen the generation hurdles into the elevation of their dreams but stumble from the virility of inhibitions.

I've seen the truth from its diverse realities but haven't reap where its discernible premises.

I've seen the soul buried in assumption of rights that smog the arms to unite.

I've seen the lumens of the Seraphs but still I long for where they dwells.

I've seen the elate stairs of a sad fool young man's life climbing its tired steps hailing for an end.

I Love You, Because

TAOYUAN HSIEN, Taiwan - Love poem by Jun Sanchez and lovingly dedicated to his sweetheart. Jun Sanchez with a #0930303357 and is presently member of Samahang Makata, International - Taiwan Chapter and currently residing at #70 Nanshang Rd. 350 Lane, Kweisan, Taoyuan Hsien, Taiwan.

I love you because, you're so beautiful. Something you possess that I admire the most. You're the only one that I adore. To appreciate and cherish forever.

I love you because, you give me hope. You accept my love and all what I am. You're so sincere and down to earth. You are with me and always on my mind.

I love you because, you're words touch my heart. Your kindness and smile really turn me on. Sometimes you make me happy, sometimes sad. You can drive me crazy, I don't know why.

I love you because, you believe in me. Honestly binds our hearts all the time. Assurance of love, trust and faithfulness. You give me confidence and peace of mind.

I love you because, you're so thoughtful. You are strong, you support my weaknesses. When we argue, you show humbleness that makes me love you even more.

I love you because of what you are. God has made you part of my life and I just love you because, without you now, my life is worthless.

Love Sonnet

TUESDAY, 5:21 PM - a piece of my thought howlin' inside my saddened lonely heart…and just let it burst…

HERE I stand beneath the dreams I left behind, whether stormy weather pushes it all back, no hope but a poignant sigh…

The sand in my time is darkened by the eclipse of changing society, will I ever spread again the wings of virility forsaken by the strokes of the divine…

Rains sweep my tears as I smolder the memoirs of my virginal soundness and daintiness, I look everywhere and found nothing only desolation and decay…

If summer sun brings me another dawn in my old and tired shaking hands, spare me a canvass and I'll show you the dreams I left behind…

TAIPEI CITY, Taiwan - A poem submitted by Mr. Jun Sanchez, President of Samahang Makata International (Taiwan). Samahang Makata International is a Filipino organization of poetic and creative writers overseas.

I'm the Overseas Contract Worker, wherever I go, I'll do my best performing my job with dignity in exchange of dollars to meet my dreams.

I learned to adopt another culture, to travel and see other places. I survive different kinds of seasons in exchange of exotic lifestyle.

I'm very friendly and helpful, my service is appreciated, host is grateful. Trusted by employers and their families, I considered them all of my friends.

Yet some are not as lucky, those whose employers are mean and cruel. Workers are treated unjustly no freedom, no rights, no security to enjoy.

As a stranger I do consider, follow or host and sacrifice harder. To avoid conflict, I do must be careful, I think of my dreams, I'm ready to crawl.

For me, working abroad is extremely hard, but my family's future is in my hand and as soon as my contract ends, I'm happy to be back in my native land.
