ANOTHER year is over…there's nothing left to hollow out but cool changes. Another colors of beginning unfolds…there's nothing to look after but to fearlessly face the roarin' challenges ahead. 03-12-06_1234.jpgAs we await for the new year, we still sail on the bright and clear waters of sentimentalism…just like like starting it over…just like pickin' up the pieces…just like stocking the old bytes in your memory…just like cryin over the spilled milk…at this very moment of wide-ranging mayhem among brotherhood and of men, I think of LennonJohn and his deliriously serious dealings with PEACE…just like the very moving and haunting words in his song - Give Peace A Chance! Despite the fact that it's so hard to give peace a chance, but as we have grown together, why don't we take off together, come together all 'ye dreamers of peace, let's take our chance and fly away somewhere where peacefulness is abundantly reigning, gather all 'yer nerves and let's start and fall in love with the peace they left behind, as we take that bold challenge, we are very thankful to the men and women, our own kababayan who just clutch giant steps towards unity and peace, loving and caring from Alaska to Seoul, from Taipei City to London City, from Riyadh to Bregenz, harbringers of peace unites, from Lisboa to Iowa, from Hawaii to Qatar - the mission of uniting Pinoys and long dream of peace is at hand…Maraming Salamat Po, Mabuhay Kayong Mga Bagong Bayani at Masaganang Bagong Taon sa Inyong Lahat!!!

Across The Miles Holiday Greetings…

100_06081.jpg

CHRISTMAS time is here! Time to reflect…not only from the time of year that have passed but also today and the next. I have had so many blessings and I thank God for that, and for the people who gave their utmost part in making things happen to people like us who are living far from our loved ones yet we fel that, all of you are just right by our sides. Thank you so much.

I also appreciate the fact that somehow I have found here a motherly love from an 86 year old neighbor named Elsie. She always come to check on me when in fact I must be the one checking on her because of her age but anyway, she drives and take me to work whenever my Bob is not available. I work on second shift from 2 or 3 in the afternoon and by that time my husband is still at work so Elsie would offer me a ride. She even joked about "adopting" me as her daughter because she never had any.

At this time I had started thawing a 14-pounds Turkey (my Employer's way of showing gratitude to individuals who has been so dedicated in their jobs and has touched so many lives). There are only 2 of us at home on Christmas. We do not have any visitors or guests as Bob's son and daughter are too busy in their jobs.

Anyway, here are the names of people that I want you to greet for me. Some of them has been my inspiration, some of them has given me help with my questions on Immigration process, and some of them are my friends who always put a smile on my face.

Steve & Leva Murray of Clear Lake, Iowa, Harry & Nilda Vermeer of Charles City, Chad & May Leer of Greene, Iowa, Elvie Miranda & Family of Charles City, Iowa, Arlene Estrada & Family of Charles City, Sherine Torio & Family of Charles City, Ester & Kurt Eggerich of Gilmore City, Iowa, Charlotte of Charles City, Cleo & Family of Charles City, Eileen Winters of Charles City, Pat Beaver & Jody Janis, Gail Nordman, Anna & Dave Isom of Mulkey Town, Illinois, Strawberryblush of Vermont, Jewellyn & Family of California, Sammy Ricardo of California, Drs. Francis & Cecille Peralta of Dodge, Iowa, Mr. Manny Flores of Fort Dodge, Iowa and Analou Godoy-Park of South Korea.

JUST another ordinary day of   cruisin' the time inside the fully- airconditioned square room for my 2-hour radio program Pinoy Overseas sa Aksyon Radyo, nothin' really special lingers in the now breezy and chilled airwaves except the listener's wants and yearns for to air their sweety-syrupy sentiments over their antiquated much loved song. If i were to calibrate my head and shake it all up like your desired yummy fruitshakes to come up with song closest to my eerie heart, it would  be the most gleaming song redeemed inside the romantic hearts of many music aficionados.

RenzPic1.JPG     A song that comes from the band during my sentimental youth spawned super-inclined syrupy and honey-lemon mashed moving song Muskrat Love. The band is best known for its #1 hits A Horse With No Name and Sister Golden Hair, so to mention the most sentimental song ever written during the days of nonsensical yuppies - I Need You. Flashin' like jumpin' flash inside my mumbo jumbo head is another certified sentimental-tailored mushiness, the jasmine-flowerisque song All My Life from the band who became an overnight musical sensation in 1972 - with original members Gerry Beckley, Dewey Bunnell and Dan Peek, certainly, the group can do magic.

Dokyu Ng Isang Galang Disc Jockey : Fish Be With You

 04-12-06_0819.jpg04-12-06_0822.jpg

EVER wonder how it is to be a cool fish? Fish are the coolest living creatures in the plane, and i'll bet my head for it, just one head, huh? It's such a one fine hot & humid afternoon drive goin' to Manila when another cooled-jeprox friend Greg Natividad decided to bring to halt for awhile and rush to Gerona, Tarlac, in a 1 1/2 Hectare Resto-Park Palaisdaan filled with cool Japanese Koi and Kingfish.

 04-12-06_0747.jpg04-12-06_0821.jpg

It was the most awe-inspiring time of our lives feeling at one with nature, and of course the most serene and peaceful moment we ever had dining with dearly friends, Tita Edang, Ate Luisa, Kuya Raul and yes course the dearest of them all, my son Gabriel. Watching the Kois and the Kingfish in harmony spinning and splashing - twirling and turning in the small and big lagoons surrounded with different thousand palm trees and shrubberies, makes my brave heart jumpy-jigger for awhile, surely, there's still one cool and still place to be…so calm…so qiuet…p're kong brod a real place to be…fish be with!
