PYEONGTAEK, South Korea - Pyeongtaek is a city in Gyeonggi Province in South Korea. Located in the southwestern part of Gyeonggi, Pyeongtaek is a newly developed port city, founded in 1986. Pyeongtaek is also located in the northern area end of Songtan, Gyeonggido, South Korea. Songtan achieved city status in its own right in the 1980s, but was merged, along with Pyeongtaek County, into Pyeongtaek City in 1996.
In Pyeongtaek City, we can locate one of our sweetest and pretty kababayan successfully enjoying the kimchi life out there. From General Santos, Mindanao, Ms. Irene Nastor is working at Ora Com Electronics in Pyeongtaek for more than 2 years now. She is also very thankful to Pinoy Overseas for making her as well as many Pinoys out there a very special one citing and praising them on the site.
