P.O.BOX 99933, Riyadh 11625 - First impression lasts, thats what alway comes…talkin' bout not the revolution but the war against my being aloneness and feelin' of homesickness here in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Hey, hey, my, my, I'm an alien in Riyadh working and grinding the brains in my head in the Design Co. here in Riyadh for a years of contract.

Here in the lonely corners of the villa, I need to be adjsuted with the runs and sways of living the Arab ways…the hard ways I mean…Staring and looking as if I am like Kokey in this (strange?) world of Abayas. As I live a new life in the villa, I begin to embrace the toughness of a single knight battling against himself, empty-handed and weaponless…yes, I miss Pilipinas, just like the Pinoys living in the other side of the room wherein he just whispers that he stayed here for more than three (lost?) years and now he's beggin' to fly away back in our beloved 'Pinas…

More, I know lots and lots of adjustments are over there waiting to be catch by my loneliness for me to battle-won these marks of moans and growls sweatin' our presence here in the hot desert city of Saudi Arabia.

Buhay Pinoy Overseas Sa Riyadh

DSC007901.JPG

RIYADH, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - Nothing is temporary in this quite wonderful world…All good things must sometimes come to an end…gone are the good old days of voices and songs in the four corners of the booth…here in Riyadh with the heat of the sun and the dryness of the dunes and the desert, I begin to sweat honing and grinding all the brains in design…looking around in this new world with the Arabs, Indians, Sri Lankans, Egyptian and as well as with the Pinoys…

As I embrace the new things in my life I begin to look forward for the bright (hopefully) things to come…just ignite with me as I stroll along in the (desert) life here in Riyadh…
