Father's day is a celebration inaugurated in the early 20th century to complement Mother's day in celebrating fatherhood and male parenting. The day is celebrated on a variety of dates worldwide and typically involves gift-giving to fathers and family-oriented activities.

RIYADH, K.S.A - The Pinoy Overseas would like to congratulate and wholly praise one of our great and uprising photographer Ken Ruther "Yon" Layosa for winning his best shot at the recently concluded Philippine Independence Day Special Day Photo Exhibition and Competiton dubbed as Your Best Shot by the prestigious Cameraderie Photography Club held in the Chancery Hall, Philippine Embassy last June 13.
Entitled simply in Arabic word Shoop, Yon uses DSLR EOS 40D, without technical photographic manipulation he wows the panel of judges with its great captive of sentiment, grand exploitation of chiaroscuro and manipulation of the elements of the arts.

CHANCERY HALL, Philippine Embassy - In line with the 110th Anniversary of the Philippine Independence Day celebration here in Riyadh, K.S.A, top Pinoy photographers and clubs gather and honor the rising great and top Filipino professional and non-professional photographers through the prestigious Photo Exhibition and Competition dubbed as "My Best Shot" and Your Best Shot" raised by the top and leading club in Riyadh, the Cameraderie Photography Club.

The prestigious special event for the Philippine Independence Day celebration graced by many Filipino photography hobbyist and as well as aficionados were successfully praised and concluded with the help of founding officers and top-caliber lensemen headed by Mr. Derek Cabanero and Ms. Christy Cabanero, Mr. Alan Syfu, Glen Sibulan, Kabayan Anthony and Gerry and the Cameraderie Photography Club members.
